Lemon Iced Tea

A simple and delicious Lemon Iced Tea recipe to get you through the hot summer days!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp English Breakfast tea (loose leaf or in a tea bag)
  • 1 tbsp dark brown sugar
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 lemon

Instructions
 

  • Bring the water to a rolling boil in a kettle or in a large pot on the stove.
  • Add the brown sugar to the boiled water and stir until dissolved completely.
  • Add the tea and steep for four minutes, or until desired strength is reached.
  • Allow the tea to cool before adding the juice from half of a lemon.
  • Slice the remainder of the lemon and add to the pitcher of iced tea, or add to individual glasses when serving.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

The iced tea will keep for 2 - 3 days in the fridge.
