A delicious, refreshing, and low-sugar iced lemon tea recipe to get you through the hot summer months!

This iced tea recipe only requires three ingredients and is so simple to make! First, you’ll start by boiling four cups of water in a kettle or on the stove. Once the water comes to a boil, stir in one tablespoon of dark brown sugar until it dissolves. Add either two English Breakfast tea bags, or one tablespoon of loose-leaf tea leaves in a tea infuser. We always use the Twining brand, but any English Breakfast tea will work! We love to use a tea strainer like this, because of their ease of use and the quick cleanup after use.

Allow the tea to steep in the water for four minutes, or until the desired tea strength is reached. Discard the tea bags.

Allow the mixture to cool completely before stirring in the juice from half of a lemon. Add additional lemon slices to the pitcher or each individual glass, if desired.
