Hello appetizers! Last weekend was the superbowl and let me just say, I do not follow football, but I do follow food. Wherever the food is, I am sure to be spotted nearby. This Dill Dip Mayonnaise is perfect for appetizers if you need that little extra zing. My favourite is to dip some fries or better yet, sweet potato fries into this dill-icious, creamy, zesty Dill Dip Mayonnaise.
The fresh lemon and the aroma of dill transport me forward a few months, right into spring. This Dill Dip Mayonnaise is so clean and fresh and just the perfect addition to your fish and chips dinner. I am still perfecting my recipe for extra crispy fries in the oven (stay tuned!), but I know they will be the perfect food to dip in this dill dip. In the meantime, add it as a topping for burgers, or my cauliflower burgers!
Benefits of Dill weed
Dill Dip Mayonnaise is packed with dried dill weed. Dill weed has many health benefits; dill weed is a remedy for inflammation, helps with insomnia, and aids in bone health, just to name a few! Magnesium and vitamin B found in dill, increases the body’s production of melatonin, which regulates sleep. Many other vitamins found in dill, such as iron, calcium, riboflavin, and vitamin D, support bone regeneration and bone growth.
How to make Dill Dip Mayonnaise
Making this Dill Dip Mayonnaise could not be more simple! Add all ingredients into a jar or measuring cup (we will be using an immersion blender, so pick a taller container to minimize splatter) then blend with an immersion blender. Chill Dill Dip Mayonnaise the fridge then add dill and lemon right before serving, or add dill and lemon flavourings right away. Stir and serve as a dipping sauce for crispy fries, or as a spread for burger topping.
This Dill Dip Mayonnaise is the perfect addition to your burgers and fries. Adding dill weed makes this dip taste so fresh and transports you right into spring.
